Clarification on the Belladonna 30C that most Homeopaths recommend vs the Belladonna 3X/6X found in over the counter Homeopathic combinations. The laws of chemistry state that there is a limit to the dilution that can be made without losing the original substance altogether. This limit, which is related to Avogadro's number (6.023 x 1023), corresponds to homeopathic potencies of 12C or 24X (1 part in 1024).
Modern proponents claim that every last molecule is gone once you cross 12C or 24X. Just a "memory" of the original substance is retained.
The Belladonna used in combination remedies is usually 3X or 6X which are decimal potencies meaning they have been diluted 3 or 6 times in 1:9 ratio and may contain the Belladonna plant. But the 12C or 24X potencies and above will not even contain a single molecule of the Belladonna plant.
