What is a polycrest remedy? - By Dr Farokh Master
Homeopathic remedies are derived from natural substances that come from plants, minerals, animals as well as nosodes (diseased tissue) and sarcodes(healthy tissue). Homeopathic remedies are so highly diluted that not one molecule of the original natural substance remains in the potencies higher than 12C and 24X. The process by which homeopathic potencies are prepared is called Potentisation. A remedy is prepared by diluting the substance in a series of steps. Liquid substances are potentized by Succussion and solid substances by Trituration The two common systems used to prepare the homeopathic potencies are the decimal (X ) and the centesimal (C)scale. Remedies are available in liquid, pellet, and tablet forms. The commonest potencies available are 6X, 12X, 6C, 12C, 30C and 200C.
