Notes from workshops on  Homeopathic remedies for allergy symptoms:

THURSDAY 3/19/19 UPDATE 

Sambucus nig 30C: Congestion, dryness, not much discharge. Congestion/cough aggravated lying down.

Hydrastis 30C: Congestion, PND, Thick ropy secretions. Continuous feeling of mucus in the throat.

Kali bi: Root of the nose/frontal sinus pain. Stringy discharge

Corallium rub 30C :PND, dry spasmodic cough. Air that is inhaled feels cold. 

Lemna minor: Nasal polyps. Worse wet weather. Offensive odor in the blocked nose. Loss of smell. 

Nux vomica 30C: Congestion at night Sambucus: Congestion/cough on lying down 

Sinapis nig: Alternate nostrils are blocked with discharge

Pointers to some Hayfever remedies

Remedies discussed with their characteristic keynote indications: 

Apis Mellifica 30C: Redness/Swelling/Burning after exposure to any suspect allergen/Bee sting/Mosquito bite 

Allium cepa 30C(the common onion): profuse, fluent, burning nasal discharge with bland tears, worse in a warm room and better in the open air, tingling, violent sneezing 

Euphrasia 30C (eyebright): red eyes, the burning tears, profuse bland nasal discharge, worse open air. Opposite symptoms than those of Allium cepa. 

Arsenicum Album 30C: BOTH-Burning tears and nasal discharge, sneezing. Nose becomes red/raw due to the acrid discharge 

Phosphorus 30C:Complimentary to the Ars alb. Constantly flowing clear discharge 

Sulphur 30C: Itching skin/eyes 

Natrum Mur: running nose, discharge like egg white with sneezing and congestion. 

Pulsatilla 30C(windflower): Congestion/ bland thick nasal discharge. Aggravated baked foods/bread

Nux vomica 30C: Indigestion/ Nasal Congestion (more at night). Especially indicated if brought on by eating foods that do not suit. 

Kali bi 30C: Thick stringy colorful discharge that can be drawn into strings 

Sabadilla 30C: Incessant sneezing, from freshly cut grass/ smell of flowers 

Sanguinaria can 30C: symptoms brought on by the smell of flowers, right sided congestion 

Arundo m 30C: Itching palate Gelsemium 30C :Congestion, heaviness forehead 

Ambrosia 30C: Ars alb symptoms + itching 

Spongia t 30C: Dry hacking cough

Silicea 30C: Congestion with not much discharge
